Chapter: Nehemiah 13 | Verse: Nehemiah 13:15–22
“Then I warned them and said to them, ‘Why do you spend the night in front of the wall? If you do so again, I will lay hands on you.’”
— Nehemiah 13:21a LSB
The enemy doesn’t always attack with swords—sometimes it’s with open markets and busy schedules. And God’s people forget how to rest.
Merchants camped outside the gates on the Sabbath, hoping to sneak in a few sales. Nehemiah wasn’t having it. He put boundaries in place—and enforced them.
God’s rhythms matter.
Where have you sold out your Sabbath? What rhythms of rest and worship have been replaced by hustle?
This podcast will challenge the pace of your life. Walking with God is a lifestyle that honors rest, reflection, and resistance to cultural chaos.
Closing Prayer
Father, teach me to honor Your design for rest. Protect my time with You from worldly intrusion.
