The Road to Emmaus Still Runs Through Us

Chapter: Luke 24 | Verse: Luke 24:13–35

“Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was opening the Scriptures to us?”

— Luke 24:32 LSB

Two disciples walked away confused. Then Jesus showed up, unrecognized, and opened the Scriptures. Their hearts burned—and their direction changed.

Jesus didn’t reveal Himself with miracles. He taught the Word. And that was enough to ignite a fire in their hearts.

Then they ran back—to tell others.

Discipleship is a walk, a conversation, a Word-filled journey where Jesus reveals Himself.

Where are you on the road? Confused? Disappointed? Keep walking. Let Jesus speak. Let your heart burn again.

This podcast is an Emmaus Road. We’ll walk Scripture. We’ll see Christ. And we’ll go back to tell others. Let’s journey together.

Closing Prayer

Jesus, walk with me. Open my eyes. And send me back burning.
