Rediscovering the Forgotten Feast

Chapter: Nehemiah 8 | Verse: Nehemiah 8:13–18

“And all the assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and lived in them… and there was great rejoicing.”

— Nehemiah 8:17 LSB

Sometimes, the most radical thing you can do is obey something that hasn’t been done in generations. That’s what revival looks like: bringing back what was lost—and living it with joy.

They hadn’t celebrated the Feast of Booths like this since the days of Joshua. But once the people understood the Word, they didn’t just learn it—they lived it.

They built shelters. They remembered the wilderness. They rejoiced in obedience.

Sometimes reformation means dusting off forgotten commands and living them afresh.

What parts of your walk have grown dusty or dormant? What forgotten rhythms need restoring? Don’t just hear the Word—build the booth.

This podcast is a call back to forgotten faithfulness. We’re recovering what matters most—and living it out with joy. You’re invited.

Closing Prayer

Lord, show me what I’ve forgotten. Help me rediscover obedience—and rejoice in it.
