You’ll never finish the wall if you keep chasing every distraction. Even good meetings can be bad decisions when they’re designed to pull you off the wall.
Sanballat and Tobiah offer Nehemiah a series of meetings. Sounds harmless. But Nehemiah knows the game. They’re trying to sideline the mission with drama.
His response? “I can’t come down—I’m doing a great work.”
That’s spiritual clarity.
